Who we are

For over 15 years, CcomOciné has distinguished itself in the design and diversity of its armchairs, decorations and accessories for private cinemas. In 2016, in order to fully control the quality of our products, we decided to take over complete management of our production by establishing our own workshops in the heart of south-eastern France. Since then, all our chairs, decorative elements and furnishings have been made entirely in France. We also attach the utmost importance to the quality and provenance of our raw materials, which we select mainly in France, and when necessary, explore European or international sources.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our workshops and showroom in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, to let you discover our expertise.

The AsLord Création brand

Our commitment to excellence in motorized seating led us to invest fully in the luxury home cinema segment. The result is our new brand, AsLord Création by CcomOciné, which embodies the spirit of made-to-measure solutions and advanced customization.
Each range has a unique style, perfectly suited to the creation of private home cinema rooms.

Made in France

When we think of a “cinema armchair made in France”, we imagine a workshop or factory in France, with specialized machinery and artisanal or industrial techniques applied by qualified professionals. However, legislation allows the use of the terms fabriqué en France , produit en France or Made in France even if only part of the manufacturing process takes place in France. This flexibility allows some companies to claim French manufacture when the product has undergone only minor, if any, processing on French soil.
This makes it all the more complex for consumers to verify, particularly in online commerce where descriptions can be ambiguous, even misleading, and limited to a few photos. However, there are several ways of verifying this information more reliably.
Thanks to advanced search engines, the “search by image” function makes it easier to identify the country of origin of manufacture of certain chairs, particularly motorized ones. By consulting platforms such as Alibaba, which groups together the vast majority of Chinese manufacturers, it is possible to find identical products. If a photo matches, it’s likely that the French or European companies presenting themselves as “manufacturers” or “designers” are indeed sourcing in China.
These companies often simply import and resell these chairs, while charging substantial margins. They may also find it difficult to provide fast, efficient after-sales service. La French Fab: the standard of French industry on the move La French Fab is a non-commercial brand that brings together companies, such as CcomOciné / AsLord, that share the values set out in its manifesto. The collective aims to promote and enhance French industrial know-how, both at home and abroad. As a member of the French Fab, our company is committed to the following seven principles:
Innovation / Modernization / Adaptation / Ecological responsibility / Internationalization.
